Joe Magliocco’s wife Rose Augello was born to Francesco & Rose Augello. Her father looks to have been from Santa Ninfa too.

I couldn’t find any connection between the two Augello families but there could have been a link

This was the wrong guy. Here's the right one:

SALVATORE P CAMMARATA
DOB: 23 Oct 1918
POB: Belleville, NJ
F: Andrea "Andrew" Cammarata
M: Violante "Yolanda" Morici
W: Anne Lily Pignataro
Occupation: Worker - Rowe Manufacturing Co.
Address: 132 Milton Ave, Nutley, NJ
Prior Addresses: 74 Frederick St, Belleville, NJ
Death: Mar 18 2008
Family from Borgetto, Palermo, Sicily

- His brother Alexander was a member in San Jose and married John Misuraca's daughter

- His first cousin (father's sisters's daughter) was Rosalia “Rose” Pezzino who was married to fellow Colombo member Angelo Speciale

There were a lot of ties between these families. It looks like they immigrated together so they go further than just being from the same neighborhood.

ANGELO SPECIALE
DOB: Mar 25 1909
POB: Montelepre, Italy
F: Ignazio Speciale
M: Mary
W: Rosalia Pezzino (Born in Borgetto, Italy)
Occupation: President - Harmony Woods Inc.
Address: 100 Liberty St, Woodbridge Township, NJ
Previous Addresses: 66 Frederick St, Belleville, NJ; 85 21st St, Irvington, NJ
Death: Jul 14 1974
Angelo’s mother’s maiden name was Mary Di Bella

Her father Antonio DiBella of Montelepre is listed as the family’s relative in Italy on their immigration.

———————

They immigrated to a BIL Filippo Tinervia living at 207 Johnson St, Brooklyn, NY. [The record says that was her brother, but I’m not sure] While that address doesn’t exist, there was a Philip Tinervia living at 227 Johnson Ave, Brooklyn, NY.

(https://www.familysearch.org/tree/sourc ... FB?context)

He was born Aug 16 1889 in Montelepre to Angelo Tinervia and Antonia DiBella. Interestingly, he was married to Angelina Misuraca, daughter of Pietro Misuraca and Rosalina Campiona. More importantly, she was John, Art, and Pete Misuraca’s sister.

By 1925, per their daughter’s birth record, the Tinervia family was living in Belleville, NJ. In the 1930 census, they were at 13 Frederick St, Belleville, NJ. This was next door to James Misuraca, another brother.

(https://www.familysearch.org/tree/sourc ... 4Z?context)

Their time in NJ was done by 1935; they had moved to the Bay Area and were living in Santa Clara, CA. In 1940, they were in San Francisco, CA living with Peter Misuraca.

(https://www.familysearch.org/tree/sourc ... CR?context)

————————

Montelepre and Giardinello are next to each other so it makes sense that these families could have known each other before moving to the US.

Angelo Speciale’s wife was from Borgetto. They were living at 66 Frederick St, Belleville, NJ. This was next door (74 Frederick St, Belleville, NJ) to future SJ Family member, Alexander Cammarata also from Borgetto. He married John Misuraca’s daughter Rose.

————————-

It would be really interesting to know if his mother was related to the DiBellas, also from Montelepre, in the Bonanno family. They also lived/were involved with Newark.

Sebastiano was also the brother of Joe Magliocco's brother-in-law Francesco D'Agati who was killed by Joe's father Giovanni and he was the uncle of member Gene D'Agati. Sebastiano and Francesco's own uncle Giulio D'Agate was the capofamiglia of Villabate in the 1910s-1920s until he was killed and Joe Profaci's brother Domenico Proface was also killed most likely in the same Palermo conflict.

SEBASTIANO D’AGATI
(Sebastian, Dagoto, Agate)
DOB: Sep 13 1897
POB: Villabate, Palermo, Sicily
F: Vincenzo D’Agati
M: Giuseppa Terranova
W: Carmela Profaci
Occupation: Liquor distributor
Address: 1137 69th St, Brooklyn, NY
Immigration: Feb 17 1921 to BIL Angelo Arlotta (159 Attorney St, NYC, NY)
Death: Sep 1979 - Sound beach, NY

————————————-

His wife Carmela was born to Ignazio Profaci and Dominica Lascala. She was likely Joe Profaci’s 1st cousin.

D’Agati immigrated with Gaspare D’Amico’s maternal uncle Antonio Lombardo and his kids. Also from Villabate, they were headed to his father Domenico D’Amico at 221 8th Ave, Newark, NJ

No idea if this Lombardo was a member but an interesting connection nonetheless

I might be confused myself but I very vaguely remember some MaryFerrell files where Anthony Peraino and one another name was listed under Sam Badalamenti. Leo Carlino may have been under Badalamenti as well.

This chart should be somewhat similar to JD’s 1965 chart.
Leo Carlino was a Bonanno under Angelo Caruso.

Scarpa and Rubertone were def with Ambrose Magliocco. Rubertone was the acting captain. Mangano would make sense since he was so close to the Profacis/Maglioccos.

Not sure if Peraino was with Badalamenti but they were very close. The early guys from Carini were around his father before he was killed.
I also have Bartolo Ferrigno (61y) and Vincent 'Jimmy' Muce (42y) with Ambrose Magliocco's crew ca 1963.

John D’Amico died on March 28 1960. Not a member in 1963
D'Amico is probably the same as the FNU D'Amico who was an attendee at the 1965 NJ regime meeting. The FBI later identified this individual as John D'Amico.
It couldn’t have been John D’Amico. He died on March 28 1960; so he couldn’t have attended a meeting in 1965.

Maybe it was Gaspare D’Amico who would have belonged to the NJ crew even if he lived in Puerto Rico.
The FBI identified the FNU D'Amico as John/Giovanni D'Amico, brother of former Newark Boss Gasper D'Amico. JD has D'Amico (John) alive by 1965.

Guys under Badalamenti:

Vincenzo Randazzo
Anthony 'Big Tony' Peraino (CI was questionable)
Maybe it's the same report, but a CI knew Tony Peraino to be very close to Badalamenti. These relationships look to go back to his father Giuseppe Peraino as some of his closest associates were the guys from Carini.

Both Tony and Joe Peraino were also Tom DiBella's top guys who helped him carry messages and host meetings in the 1970s. Wouldn't be surprised if this too goes back to a relationship between their fathers.

He was arrested for murder with Anthony Caponigro and his crew in the '40s; it's possible he started out with that group initially.

Random note, but in addition to Jilly Greca being the son of member / acting captain Joe Greca his uncle was member Louis Barbusca.
