Very cool site; reminds me of a Gavin Schmitt but for Rochester.

I've heard of Arena before, but don't recall that he killed a Sam Giannola from Chicago. Presumably this would've been an early Chicago guy from Cìnisi; anyone know any more about this story?

EDIT: Wait, is this just a reference to the Salvatore Giannola killed in Detroit in 1918?

Loren Piccareto is living in California I believe. At least he was some years back. He did an interview about the mob several years back. Unfortunately he didn't really go into too much detail.

Agreed. Great site. Curious to know what happened to guys like Loren PIccaretto after he got out of prison, same with some of the other ones who were released

I spoke to this guy before, he's worth reaching out to. I'd like to get him to join here if possible. I believe his name is Frank Aloi.
