I thought GohnJotti wrote on his blog a long time ago in one of the blogs that the Colombo brothers and such were all brought back in when the Colombos were trying to reorganize in 2010.

You should keep all your guys in a criminal-specialty rolodex like Gapipe did.
Actually I use more an excel type spreadsheet keeping track of their major felonies for easier dealings with the feds.

Anthony Colombo died in early 2017 but Chris Colombo and Clemenza are still alive - not sure where Clemenza's standing with the family is at these days though

I'm not sure of their current status, but Chris Colombo did an interview many years ago.

I don't know who would stop them from doing it. They wouldn't be recognized by the other families as a legitimate Cosa Nostra family, but I guess they could start a crew and call it a family.
