Anti recently posted this in the Scoppa thread about Scarfo and again I don't recall Scarfo saying his grandfather was in the Ndrangheta.
the recently sentenced Dominico Scarfo said that his grandfather was in the 'ndrangheta but didn't say that he himself (or his father) is an 'ndrangheta member.
I might be mistaken in my recall that Paul Cherry wrote in February 2022 about Scarfo’s mention of a grandfather in the ‘ndrangheta.

Daniel Renaud’s article from February 8 states that Scarfo said he had a great-grandfather in the ‘ndrangheta:

Un ancêtre dans la Ndrangheta

À un certain moment, Scarfo raconte que son arrière-grand-père était dans la Ndrangheta, organisation mafieuse italienne.

There have been philly ties to toronto in the past with paul volpe and angelo bruno. Also there are ndrangeta members/affiliates here with the last name scarfo. I wonder if they were distantly related to nicky scarfo from way back in the day.
That guy on trial for killing sollecito has the last name scarfo if I’m not mistaken. Idk who he was affiliated with though.
The police refer to him as a member of Ndrangheta. Scarfo is a Calabrian surname, whether he is actually baptized or not, he was working for the Calabrians.

Quitting while your ahead isnt the same as quitting.

;)
Feel bad for you at this point. What is next? Animal abuse references?

I think the hits in Hamilton would go on regardless of Buffalo (I don’t think Joe todaro is pointing his finger saying I want this guy dead, and this guy too!) but I think they are definitely being informed/consulted about it before it goes down. Butchie (Frank bifulco) was supposed to be a big guy that a lot of Ontario guys talked to before he died, atleast that’s what I heard. Like a streetboss/intermediary for todaro. At the end of the day a lot of the Canadian guys idolize movies like goodfellas and the godfather, their basement bars and home theatres are littered with posters of these movies. If they get the chance to get made, most of them will take it, even if they got to kick up a small envelope they don’t give a fuck they are rolling in drug money up here. The states is different, they gotta scrounge out a living for the most part
+1

You know what a Canadian's basement means to a Canadian ;)
Agree made guys here live better, simply because consequences are lighter.
Violi maybe made 2-5 mil moving Fentanol. In the states hes doing 25. Bye bye that 2-5 on lawyers, wife and fam. Here, youre out in 6? youve dropped a mill on lawyers and fam and youve got another 3 in your brother in-laws account to enjoy. Easy!
Newyorkempire wrote: Mon Jun 13, 2022 5:48 pm Not just him though being loaded. What hotel are you talking about?
The one up your mother's ass.
Cue the guy who talks about underage girls menstrual cycles and now mothers' anus'. Class act you are. Envious. You need serious therapy

Wish we'd get a guy to flip in Hamilton. The hit on the Luppinos, both the Musitanos. Would love to know the landscape and what is going on. Worse than Montreal. Is it Buffalo, the Ndrines, Montreal? So many variables. Problem is Canadian sentences are so fucking weak theres no incentive to flip. Look at Violi. selling Fentanol by the kilo and is out in under 6 years. Why the fuck is anybody rolling with consequences like that.

Scrounge out a living? Not sure this applies. Especially with the two names you just used in the post. Neither scrounged in the life. And as much as it is considered a second rate city, there was huge earners from top to bottom who came out of it
