Demartino is a career criminal. That's all he knows, crime and violence. We've seen this story play out so many times. They get out and go straight back to what they know. And with the Colombos so thin up top he's probably gonna have an opportunity to make some good money while not doing much.

If he was to get back into the life and gets arrested again
The judge will throw the book at him due to him being released on compassionate release
The admin position is probably open for him but his eye issues could just lead to him wanting to retire

Don’t know if this is the incident they are referring to but I recall reading he got into a fight with one of the Baudanza guys in the can after Chickie said his family members were rats.

She said the move was punitive after Vincent DeMartino was assaulted - allegedly by a wiseguy from another crime family - and her husband refused to cooperate with prison authorities.

Donna is Vincent's wife.Its true that was assaulted in prison?

I thought his settlement was only peanuts compared to what he was asking and the govt seized most for unpaid restitution and fines.

He'll also be a marked man. With health issues. Who maybe can't do another another stretch. Maybe wants to live last years with family.

Chickie was a killer and turncoats would tell the FBI just that. And this is the life he chose. It isn't like he's gonna be a car salesmen now. He's a gangster and a well respected one in a borgata that lacks depth up top. Hopefully he can fly under the radar.

the article on tommy shot is a great read. i mean he had a huge crew 3 guys flipped dino,caves and i thik another brother. but tommy shot s was well liked it seems. he was street boss from 01 08 ish. i never heard of any interacton with sonny franzese who was also a bk long island guy. sonny was underboss but probaly couldnt meet with people again making tommy shots a street boss.
