Gioeli was somewhat ahead of his time, or at least a product of his quickly passing/fading times. He really missed the boat - the culture war stuff and shitposting became common and mainstream right after he started to develop health problems in the can, and right after his blog started to fizzle out. He would have been great with a Twitter account, during all of the culture war bullshit over the last 8 years. I could easily see him getting deep into topics like PIzzagate, Hunter Biden's laptop, all of the elections, etc.
Any time I see the guy's name mentioned I instinctively want to revisit gohnjotti's amazing Colombo blog and the Gioeli bio-series on there. Gioeli and that era of the Colombos is legitimately interesting and action packed, but Gohn's writings on the topic really take it to the next level.
If Gioeli is close to the end for real, or has a shot at coming home and living out the rest of his limited days - he should just come clean and start giving candid interviews. Take his blog ramblings up a notch and give us more detail, really spill the beans, fill in the gaps, etc. What we'd all give for something like that
