It’s folklore at this point.

The funeral places' name is the same as a made guy in the family and I believe was running their labor union in the 90s
is there a connection or am I just nuts
Carlo Corsentino is said to be the guy who came up with the double decker coffin idea.

Yes. That funeral home is owned by the same Corsentino family who are made members.

Do we know if John Riggi's sons: John Jnr, Emmanuel and Vincent Riggi all buttons, are still active?
Surprised none ever elevated to Capo (or above) (that I know off)
Manny Riggi was a captain and was briefly on some kind of committee in the early 2000s after all the indictments. He was Luigi Oliveri's captain. Died in 2016 https://obits.nj.com/us/obituaries/star ... d=17407091

Thanks for posting, Scott.

JD (via Rotondo/Palermo) had Vitabile as consigliere by 1976, Louis LaRasso not being promoted until 1991 right before his murder, and Jimmy Rotondo was planned to become an admin member before his death but never did. Majuri was also apparently out of the hierarchy by this time. I think there are a couple non-members on this chart too.

Good take on how LE viewed the Family in the grey period between the DeCavalcante tapes and the NYC CWs.

Manny was also a ruling panel in 1990. The other two sons are made.

Does anyone have a death year for James V. Montemarano? I'm thinking this is the same guy identified as Vito Montemarano who was Anthony Rotondo's uncle and wasn't made.
