Thanks for the info! Really hard to find anything about Bones.

What happened to James Galione? He was in the crew of George Conte, he was also identified by Di Leonardo in a documentary film as an active guy. He also made good money selling crack.

It was a few months back but it doesn't really matter now since they nuked all their videos.
Ahhh thanks for the heads up.
Apologies to Little Al.

Papagni seems to be a real sleeper. It sounds like he was an important guy but at the same time there's not much out there about him and I've only seen like one blurry picture of him.

He’s real comfortable over in Jersey, turned down the Acting Boss position to remain in Jersey.
He wasn’t able to take the acting boss position because he was on paper so it went to Big Mike. George stayed as a soldier until he was off paper and they found a spot for him.
Zappola could have taken it when his supervised release ended but he was comfortable in Jersey

It doesn’t make sense to me that after a couple years as AB going to parties and meeting as the Lucchese representative and doing a decent job (according to pennisi) that they would just take him down. I haven’t heard or read anywhere Big Mike was supposed to be just a place holder for Zappola. Maybe I missed this tidbit from Pennisi, looking forward to your response.

If anything I’m betting they are trying to include as many people as possible in the indictment. I expect multiple informers over quite some times like the old 2017 indictment

Thank you.Mikey DeSantis could be going back inside soon because an indictment is being built against him and Dellorusso
They been saying an indictment building against them for years... nypost had an article as far back as 2018 stating that. I think their informants have not panned out as they hoped when that article ran.
I think the NY post article was released last year stating that they would be indicted but I believe that they are just making the case against them solid. The Manhattan US Attorneys office will wait for as long as they need to but once the indictment comes down, I don’t think DeSantis and Dellorusso can beat it

When I search Papagni in my digital copy of Mob Boss, nothing comes up. I guess D'Arco never mentioned him?

Thank you.I remember hearing from somewhere that Papagni was the Consigliere at one time but Wikipedia says 1993 until 1996.It’s not exactly the most reliable source but it’s something though
I checked the references. Former federal prosecutor John Kroger identifies him as a one-time consigliere, but I haven't seen anything pointing out that he was in position for three years. The excerpt in question:
