Adam wrote: Sat Nov 13, 2021 11:43 am Was catching up on Cleveland history, and I was kind of interested in Joe Gallo. In Mob Nemesis there's a section where it says that after Sinito killed Perrier he was all freaked out and at the bar with Gallo and Zagaria and Gallo suggested he get drunk, which is what he(Gallo) did when he killed someone. What I'm curious about is was Gallo just playing tough guy because I've never been able to find anything that says Gallo actually participated in a murder. He clearly gives his okay and eggs on several of the Zagaria-Graewe murders(Giaimo, Ritson, Conley) and the Bonarrigo and Perrier murders by the actual Cleveland LCN, but I can't link him to a direct involvement in a mob slaying. Maybe that somewhat vague Charles Rini disappearance where his car was found by Gallo's office. But that's all I can think of. Is Gallo linked to anything else?
Why was Ritson killed? as this court filing https://law.justia.com/cases/federal/ap ... 04/198734/ suggests that the other gang members thought that he was an informant and had wanted to kill Sinito and the other Mafia members. also what do you make of this article about Kevin McTaggart https://www.newspapers.com/article/the- ... 136193029/
if beleive zagaria just like it say in the court papers , he was busted for selling drugs etc and they feared he turn , he could burn everyone , plus they probably wanted his rackets, tie up some loose ends

dont make much of it , greenes whole crew was informants , he was dry snitching greenes enemies but didnt flip and did lfie in prison , he is considred a stand up guy in prison

There some other hits he had in motion that didnt happen because they all got busted
Gallo would have no hesitation about killing someone or having them killed
Gallo is the one who blew up Danny Greenes house , he beat the case at trial
He was also accused of killing A doctor during a burglary but the case was dropped after he got sentenced to life in the drug case. I think it was Phil Christopher who was the shooter though
Thanks Strocco. I have to look at the Phil Christopher stuff. But is Gallo involved in any Cleveland LCN murders directly? I thought no except for possibly the Charles Rini one. And even that one is only a possibility.
wht do you mean ? Did he pull the trigger no, but he had his guys help zagaria crew in some of those murders

its quite possible he had Charles Rini killed and didnt get permisison from Lonardo
