I would post for those not subscribed but it keeps saying I have to subscribe eventhough I have.
Anyways, discuss
I have this problem too, gave up, their site fucking stinks.
I watched it. Again, there wasn't much to discuss but I'm glad they put one out to keep his updated that they are actually still doing it. They discussed the Colombo bust and mentioned how some Philly guys have the same thing going.
Also, mentioned on joey merlino is off paper and he is seen at the clubhouse meeting everyone and how he has surveillance on him going in and out of the club. More over, he's out and about on the town drinking beer watching football. Just like any one of us.
Joey seems like he really lives the good life. I mean nothing crazy - pretty simple - but the guy hasn't had a care in the world. Lifting weights, going out to eat, bouncing around the neighborhood, and wintering in Florida seems awesome. Outside of being a complete degenerate, if I were independently wealthy and didn't have to work, I'd be doing the exact same thing
They also mentioned how when he went to the clubhouse "everyone" showed up after to see him...
So, yeah he's still the boss. Lol
That hang spot by the Italian market can barely fit 15 people in it. Last time I was there, Accardo was blasting Sinatra at a high decibel level with the door wide open on a nice Spring day this past April 2021.
There’s another hang spot on Marconi Plaza off Oregon that all the guys are always at as well.
During the middle of the pandemic when the world was shut down I visited my good friend from Packer Park and the only place we could go to socialize and have drinks/play cards at was the hang spot off Oregon. I get in there and Dom G, Wags, and Ant Borgesi are there, along with a few other guys who aren’t as well known on these boards , this was April 2020.
My point is , is that if you’re from the neighborhood and Italian (which my friend is) you can go in there to have a few drinks and play cards. They’re hang spots, not exclusive “mob” clubhouses. This ain’t the movies or The Sopranos…….
