Louie Bagels replaced him as acting boss, but he himself was arrested on racketeering charges in March 2003. After Daidone was put away, they had a panel with Madonna, Migliore and Joe DiNapoli identified as members. Since it was mentioned that Circelli was made somewhat recently before the shooting on December 22, 2003, my best guess is that at least one of the panel members was involved in conducting the ceremony.
My guess would be Matty Madonna given the time frame

When he died, he was IDd by the plates of the Lincoln he was driving because he didn't have any identification on him.

Circelli wasn't considered somebody of importance by law enforcement and had only one minor arrest on record. The feds thought he relied on his family's connections to secure a spot in organized crime. The Circelli family were somewhat affluent as they used to own properties around Manhattan and owned a whole brownstone on the same street as Rao's.

In 2003 he was recently made into the family and his murder wasn't considered crime related. Although investigators suspected that Circelli's newly found rank provoked Louie Lump Lump into killing him out of spite. They theorized that Louie felt disrespected by the younger guy, who he felt didn't earn the stripes he was given. Keep in mind that both men were sitting at the bar, no table reservation or anything. Circelli had started frequenting the restaurant only after he was made.

Damn... this is some great info. Probably the most we'll ever hear about the subject. Good stuff. Crea was around in 2003? Trying to figure out who the Lucchese admin (even acting / "street" admin) would have been in 2003. Wonder who inducted him
This is incredible accurate info and I wonder if Crea, Sr. officiate at his ceremony.

At the time of his arrest Barone had prostate cancer and other serious health issues. The fact he made it until 2013 is impressive.

Albert Circelli Luchese - deceased

Albert Circelli was with the Luchese's and was only 37 years old when Barone blew him out of his socks in Rao's restaurant back in 2003.

Sicne he was from Yonkers does anyone know if he was in the Tanglewood gang on Central Ave and did he leave a wife and kids?

What was his forte in the life - drugs - construction?
