I stopped watching the Gotti one when I saw Alite. Gravano episode was good, surprisingly the man himself wasn't interviewed but we're treated to his daughter instead :).

The Gotti one was pretty much as expected. Nice to see the addition of Anthony Ruggiano though. I hope he starts popping up more.

At the very end during the credits they show Long John was whacked with the infamous footage of his shot up car.

I thought the Long John Martorano episode was pretty good. I liked that they had interviews with people who actually dealt with him like his son, supplier, customer etc. Too bad they didn't have Leonetti on as well to clear up some of the inaccuracies.

Watched the Galante episode. Not really much new info, but plenty of rare pictures and footage. Kinda disappointing that out of all the Bonanno rats the best they could do is Frank Fiordilino, but they made up for it with Galante's daughter. Worth checking out.

He was made in April 1981 along with Shotsie Sparacio. The ceremony was held at the LaCucina bar in South Philly.

I had never heard of Carmine Galante going on 60 minutes with Roy Cohn or the George Martorano kidnapping story before. They are pretty good documentaries.

RamshackleMan wrote: Fri Jul 02, 2021 11:32 am I really liked the Galante episode. Kudos to them for involving one of Galante's daughters; that's a perspective
lacking from ANY previous work about Galante. Whatever happened to Nina? I assume she took the news of her
father's murder less than well considering their closeness and her rumored personal history.

The episode on Long John was equally strong.
How did you watch it?
Hulu.
