Wonder if he had the opportunity to be a Gambino, Colombo or Lucchese member since he was in Bensonhurst and working on the docks

Chin's daughter casually mentioned him in an interview... nothing of real detail other than he used to join their family during holidays, christmas eve, etc. - basically like he was a part of their family. He must have been very close with Chin

Was he born and raised in Bensonhurst or the Village?
Dom was from Bensonhurst and he was expert at opening a safe just with his fingers and listening for the rotation of the dial. Almost positive Frankie “Heart” Caggiano brought him around Greenwich Village.
Its interesting, his family isn't quite from southern Italy. Any idea when he was made or who his associates were prior Greenwich Village?

Your thinking of Dom “the Sailor” DeQuartro involvement in the Tommy Ryan hit.

He passed relatively young, but there doesn't seem to be much info beyond running the Village crew, and being involved in the Caponigro murder.
