There's just not much for Jerry to write about.

Just as an example...this is the kind of analytics you get. Google analytics or Monster Insights for a website is much more informative as you can get some really good details...at least in my opinion.

The only way you'd be able to track that is if the Post story had a link to their YouTube channel or if they did a survey. A general search on Google, Bing, etc. wouldn't come back showing the Post story was the source to the podcast. In YouTube analytics, it doesn't break down google that way. So, it's hard to know exactly.

Ive said that for a while and I would start paying again if he put a podcast out every so often but I'm not sure how much he has to say that isnt in his columns every week. I'm not one to say that Jerry's sources have dried up but Im not sure he's as on top of things as he used to be.

If Capeci is going to spend his whole article quoting a podcast, he should just do one.

No really, he should. Capeci would immediately become one of the A-list mob podcasters and it'd be amazing to see him talk more off the cuff with different people. He's Zeus in the pantheon of mob journalism.

Imagine Capeci sitting down with Gravano, DiLeonardo, FBI agents, George Anastasia... Pennisi. The bad blood would make good drama.
