I had always heard that he was a knock around guy and was around the life growing up but was mostly a legitimate guy. I think Barboza didn't like him for a shylock debt? That's why he threw Salvati in the mix.

As far as I know he's still alive today at 90 years old and residing in Massachusetts.

That the murder Peter Limone got out on? Crooked FBI agents or something. I'm just going off memory but I could've swore Tamelo and Limone both were convicted of that.

Peter Limone, Henry Tameleo, Joseph Salvati, Louis Greco, and Ronald Cassesso were all convicted of the murder of Edward "Teddy" Deegan. They were all originally sentenced to death. Tameleo, Greco, and Cassesso died in prison. Salvati was released in 1997 and Limone was released in 2001.

I think that both Peter Limone and Henry Tameleo were convicted on Barboza's perjured testimony and that Paul Rico knew that Barboza was lying to save his friend Jimmy Flemmi.

James "Slugger" Gellerman testified against Ouimette and DeLuca in their 1995 extortion trial. He was also allegedly present at a meeting between Ouimette and Timmy Mello in Fall River trying to divide up South Coast rackets.

I read the book and I thought that the stories about the Providence underworld such as the Feds bugging the office of Raymond's lawyer and his friendship with John Gotti to be interesting.
