This statement from one of the aforementioned articles is nuts. On a Monday you pay a guy a couple grand to shoot at somebody and then on Tuesday he's shooting at you...

But I also have a friend in a position in gov't like the ones mentioned in the article. He says he does work for like 4 people because all the people who work in that sector go to fancier law firms for hundreds of thousands of dollars more.

Nobody wants to work the case, even with a 10% bonus? If throwing money at the problem doesn't work, it may be based on people's values/principles. There may be something internally wrong with the case or not comfortable with Silva.
