Now he is an Ex Mobster...? LMAO ! Danny and I have mutual friends. I know the guys he went to HS with. He was a metal head burn out. Still is a huge Burnout. He took a fascination to his great uncles mobs ties later in life. He basically spends his time looking for suckers in invest in low level B Gangster flicks that really go no where and everyone that invests doesn't make a dime. Now that he cant get any money off anyone to make shitty movies and has been trying to build a bare knuckles street fighting club. It wont work because of the liability issues. Danny was obviously a fan of the Brad Pitt movies Fight Club and tried to make it a real thing. The reality is Danny smokes waay too much weed and he is unable to grasp reality with fiction. If you saw Danny in person he's like 5'8' and 150lbs wet. When he served his prison time his extended family spent a small furtune getting him removed from Trenton state and send to a min security prison in South Jersey because he couldn't take it(which I don't blame him) because he became a target(small skinny white guy with long hair) He had a decent business before he decided to play mobster when he lent money to a friend and the guy screwed him over. About 5yrs prior to that Danny started his fascination with his family Mob ties from 1950s and 1960s. I think this lead to him lending the money and then playing gangser (which he is the furtherst from) My prediction is that Danny dies dead broke ....

barenuckle boxing was some of the most boring shit ever created, don't believe me then watch some of the current fat irish traveller garbage on youtube. even the old time fights, often going for hours, were fucking horrible! i have an old book on the subject and most of the fights were just low skill brawls, one feller in particular was known to break his opponents fingers to get his wins. fuck this dummy and his dumb idea, hopefully all involved lose a ton of money!

Ex-mobster’s plan to turn secret fight club into next UFC

They just threw out the first rule of “Fight Club.”

A real-life, underground fight club is trying to take bare-knuckle boxing mainstream, with hopes of turning it into a multibillion-dollar industry.

Danny Provenzano, an ex-mobster who reduced his 30-year sentence to five years after taking a plea deal, believes the sport can be as big as UFC. “Bare-knuckle boxing requires a lot more skill than gloved boxing,” Provenzano said in an interview to the DailyMail. “You’ve got to make sure every punch counts, otherwise you’re going to break your hand.”

The sport was made illegal in the US in 1897 as gloves became popular. The underground sport touts the controversial notion that boxing gloves make the sport more dangerous and has supported the case for legalizing bare-knuckle boxing, as gloves allows for more blows to the head.
