Paradiso refers to Cali as "the fruit guy" Cali and Paradiso later meet in a park across from Hunter's steak house in Brooklyn.
This is the park with 'the cannon' where Amuso and Casso used to meet.
Great post Johnny, keep'em coming.
Wow all the places they could meet...
There's other stuff from Cali's sentencing. Nothing too interesting though just stuff like Frank Inzerillo putting up property for Cali's bail, Cali told the judge he had next to nothing in his bank accounts but had shit loads of money in property and was building a multi million home (go figure) He didnt own a car as he sold it after he was indicted, Cali broke his thumb playing basketball in a Queens detention facility and could need surgery.
And just to clarify, Pete Inzerillo was identified as a soldier in 2002. No name of the Florida based soldier that was in Cali's crew. Anyone have any guess on who that could be?
Didn’t Cali have a guy (or guys) down in Florida who had contacts with a drug cartel in Latin America? Can’t remember if they were supposed to be a Mexican cartel, or Colombian, or whatever.
Roberto Settineri? Sicilian mob associate from Palermo he was associated with Cali. He attended John Ruggerio's funeral in 2008.
And from I think I've figured out who the soldier was. Gaetano Napoli.

The Napolis were one of the original Pizza connection families, along with all the usual suspects, Inzerillos, Adamitas, Spatolas, Manninos, Cefalus, Gambinos, ect......
They were in the Venezuelan corporate structures set up by the Inzerillo/ Rizzuto consortium too....
It would make sense if he coordinated the traffic to Sicily for Cali.
