Salvie’s girlfriend who wrote the book about their time together described going to Chickie’s card game with Salvie one night and it honestly made me jealous, sounded like a TREMENDOUS time lol all these characters from all over south Philly gambling it up together , cracking jokes just having a great time

I’m guessing this was the game the crow said he got stuck 30-40k in and had problems with Chickie lol

Why does GA always seem to make it out that most of these guys are just semi active or not active ? Is he being fed false information?

This was also true of Wayne Grande and his gigantic nerd glasses.

Chang was the shooter in the Billy Veasey hit, I believe. Any others?
Angelina and Lancellotti were backup shooters. Borgesi was assigned to gather walkie-talkies and crash cars.

I’m still skeptical that Joey Baldino is made. I think he’s just a high level associate.

I’ve personally never seen Johnny Chang more than 50 ft away from the Packer Ave Chickies and Petes, besides those Mayoface surveillance videos of him at Stogie Joe’s with his Father which is where his Father always sits out in front of.

Those Chang’s certainly like hanging out at restaurants all day, that’s for sure.

NJShore4Life wrote: Wed Feb 03, 2021 8:50 am My opinions and thoughts:

Pungitore has nothing to do with current Philly mob, if you looked at his appeals when he was doing his long bud he bashed the Philly mob (it’s all out there on paper) .

I think the feeling is mutual that he doesn’t want anything to do with the current Philly LCN and they don’t want anything to do with him. Pungitore makes a lot of legitimate money in real estate as well. There’s no incentive for him to be involved.

Does he kick up a little bit from his real estate and gambling package he’s had since the 80s? I’m 50/50 on that as he did take an oath and comes from a family that always respected this thing, plus did their bids without ratting.

Phil Narducci I think is on an island all on his own with 10th and O guys . I think the current Philly LCN guys are cool with Phil and respect him. I think Phil is just doing his own thing with a few 10th and O guys he keeps close. Is he kicking up? I’m like 60/40 on that with the 60% being that he does kick up. He’s another one that comes from a family that respected this thing and took their long bids on the chin without a peep at a young age.

I saw Phil at his restaurant the summer of 2018 (great place by the way) , he had a huge long silver cross down to his stomach like a shine rapper and was holding court at the bar with a few old timer 10th and O guys.

I feel this is an accurate assessment but I’m just making educated guesses here from what I’ve heard and seen.

Lol I’ve seen pics of narducci with that same necklace it made me laugh. It legit reminds me of like 50 cent style rapper jewelry from the early 2000s.. super long. Before everyone started wearing fucking chokers..
It seems Phil’s criminal activity isn’t linked to anyone else if the family... what’s the current situation with his nephew ?? That he supposedly had the beef with and their was rumors going around that he got made???
Phil’s nephew, which is his late sister Susan’s son- Joey Baldino is under Johnny Chang and he owns/operates Philip’s Steaks in South Philly (best cheesesteaks without a doubt in South Philly in my opinion, it’s my go to spot for cheesesteaks in South Philly) . I go there all the time whenever I’m in South Philly and I’ve only seen Joey there once working it, he was standing in the back door entrance with the door open chomping on raw vegetables like a rabbit, staring out to space flexing his muscles on a box of bread lol not jk. It’s open 24/7.

Phil Narducci started the cheesesteak stand in the 1980s before he went away. Eventually His sister Susan had it (heard it’s one of the parts of his beef with his nephew that they squeezed him out of the family businesses) and now her sons have it.

Joey and Johnny Chang got close because Joey grew up next door to Johnny Chang in Packer Park. Joey’s Dad has absolutely nothing to do with the life, straight citizen.

Word is Joey got straightened out (Sponsored by Johnny Chang supposedly), he’s a hot head on steroids with major roid rage.

He’s about around my age (36). He took a pinch as a young buck in his early 20s with his brother in the Borgata bookmaking bust, I think him and his brother worked the wire room back in South Philly if I recall correctly when they were like 21, 22 years old in The Borgata Bookmaking bust.

Joey was also picked up a few years after he got busted in the Borgata bookmaking bust on a second pinch when him and Mikey Emma beat the living piss outta some kids in the Melrose Diner late night after a night out drinking in South Philly, stabbing the kids with forks and bashing their heads in with the metal napkin dispensers.

Heard he does steroids and hes gotten into a few altercations/beefs with his Uncle Phil Narducci and they hate each other now, totally despise each other.

Word on the street is that Joey is also the one that smashed out Dom’s windows that summer and that’s why Dom couldn’t really retaliate at all because Joey is supposedly straightened out and under Johnny Chang. I’m sure it was settled with a sit down, I would bet anything as Dom is not only a Captain but respected and loved by everyone.

Joey’s Mom / Phil’s sister also died recently within the last year and a half of cancer. If you go to Philip’s Steaks in South Philly you will see a big tribute/shrine to her.

Thanks man this was a great response with a ton of info and questions answered that I was curious about... mainly him being made and if he was the one who smashed up doms house.... doms like the golden child so I’m sure that sit down went heavily in doms favor and baldino provsbly had to pay a lot of money and maybe give up some shy customers or something like that....
That’s crazy about the fight in the diner. I’ve heard baldino is wild as fuck and dabbles in drug use and obviously steroids.. he seems way impulsive and pretty fucking wild.... Chang probably loves using him as muscle for his collections...

There hasn't been anything so far to suggest he was involved. Regarding made guys, the only individuals identified as part of the conspiracy are Pete Casella, Anthony Casella and the elder Narducci.

Frank Narducci Jr also wasn't present at John Cappello's house for the meeting that Scarfo believed was intended to kill him and Chuckie Merlino. According to Leonetti, Scarfo told him those present were the Casellas, Narducci Sr, John Grande, Joseph Grande and Rocco Marinucci.

John Grande had been sponsored for membership by Narducci and was presumably part of his crew. When Narducci was killed, the Grandes were given his numbers operation and inherited gambling associate Bernard Malseed. Narducci's sports betting business was given to Salvie Testa, Joe Pungitore and Anthony Pungitore Sr.

Frank Jr and Phil Narducci inherited the Buckeye Club from their father and it was used as the location for Rocco Marinucci's murder. Frank Jr owned the building and was told to get friendly with Marinucci so he could lure him to the club where the Grande brothers would be waiting to kill him.
Interesting, thanks. I seem to remember the part about someone getting friendly with Marinucci to eventually set him up from Leonetti's book, but I forgot that it was Narducci Jr. Crazy that you're now helping the murderer of your father kill one of your dad's associates, what a twisted life.

Maybe Phil Narducci carries a lot of emotional baggage from how everything went down back then and that's why he keeps his distance from the borgata now. To co-exist with and even take orders from the man you know murdered your father, that's gotta be rough even if the guy had a good reason like Salvie did. That's gotta be even worse than openly being cucked. The samurai had a saying like "a man cannot live under the same sky as the man who killed his father". Wouid be interested to know of their reaction to Salvie getting whacked.....maybe they had a good time at that little party that Scarfo threw after.
Frank Friel claims that he asked Windows how he could work with the men who killed his father and Narducci replied, "Tell me something that'll bring him back and then I'll help you. Otherwise, I don't wanna hear."

NJShore4Life wrote:Yes, Both Phil and Joey Punge’s Fathers left them millions , they came out of their long bids with multi million dollar packages they were left by their Fathers plus all the legit businesses and real estate they invested in and in Joey Punge’s case I know he had a pretty big sports betting package that one of his brothers looked after while he was away.

Both those guys came out of 30 year bids as millionaires.
Did Chickie have any legitimate businesses that he left to Philip and Windows or was it all gambling related ?

Usually when the mob kills someone the killers split their businesses up but I’m sure Salvie could care less about any of that and just wanted revenge

Also Chickie seemed like a really smart guy too , so I’m sure he had plenty of talks with Philip and windows about what to do in the event he gets clipped
