I figure Lanni / 18th ave crew is basically "Sicilian faction" at this point, or crew prev held by Mannino, John Gambino, and Nino Inzerillo.
Always assumed the Cherry Hill Gambino's were a separate crew?
I think still part of Inzerillo/Gambino crew, just operating in Cherry Hill
Some of the "Cherry Hill Gambinos" were formally part of the Sicilian mafia while others were part of Antonino Inzerillo's decina which included both Brooklyn and South Jersey.
The Cherry Hill Gambinos in Jersey and Philly ( I lump Domenico Mannino in too, Iron Tower and all that...)
Antonio Inzerillos crew, ( he's the one who went to Sicily on his relatives behalf and got killed....)
Francesco Gambinos crew, (in the thread with Frank, I FINALLY...LOL got Felice to admit this was a Sicilian mafia crew of the Torreta family..)
Patsy Contes crew, which included Riccardo Cefalu. Capeci's writeup had him taking direction from Sicily, even as a member of the Gambinos. Things like this, and Ciccio Gambino as well as John are where the ideas of dual affiliation originated, at least Ithink so.
I'm pretty sure there was an indictment of a crew outta Queens headed up by a couple of Spatolas too.....
That's just the Gambinos. Haven't touched the Bonnanos, or the Luchesse Sicilians like LoDuca.
Some of the long standing questions have been how these guys interlock with the Bonnano Sicilian faction, and just how much direction all these guys took from Sicily.
