No. Pisauro was made in the 1950s. He died in 1969. So he wasn´t 78 years old when he was made.

Same for Ray Argentina. The story is he was close friends with Pete the Killers son Joe and after Joe got shot up Ray killed the guy or guys who did it so Pete put him up for his button and he got it sometime in 1980.

Joseph “Old Man Joe” Paruta in 1986 because was dying to a bed desease and asked to be made and after be quicly killed but died before Gotti give the ok for the hit.

I’d be curious to know what guys were shelved in a relatively short time span after getting their button. Are there any instances of guys getting shelved within, say 18-24 months of getting made?
