All the while collecting and taking bets in delco country they lou. You think he comes out and becomes a regular joe? He wants to be seen out there. Hes literally on every video in the past 3 years they put out. Its who he is. Leopards dont change spots.
Spot on ;)

But seriously, Cheech with the win. Borgesi going legit is the same as Merlino becoming a legitimate restaurant host.

It’s ‘possible’......

Can't say it any better ,its like some of these old school Luchesse guys from BK. go away and do big numbers and come home and we naturally think there probably semi retired, or not involved, why would they risk it getting older after being away so long. Meanwhile these guys aren't missing a beat staying around nothing but wiseguys when their away and when they come out they want to earn they wanna be respected for that time they did..... time doesn't change a lot of these guy's, criminals forever, its not little league, its all they know ,its how they earn, how they live ,there families are usually around it so for most its not hard or not even a thought to jump right back in ....Avelinos got popped few years back and there crazy rich ,they didn't go away and come home to go out to pasture...the list goes on , as time goes on the list seems to getshorter and shorter but there's still plenty a guys that stop when there dead

Heres my hypothesis. I have no idea. Just an educated guess from following over the years

DS sees these guys hanging out. They have pics of them everywhere. Lately its been Borgesi and underlings. Word is prolly circulating hes the guy to see

While this is happening at the exact same time YEARS go by and theres no bust. Borgesi and co. put the word out theyre legit etc. DS and GA report that too.

Though its obvious to anyone thats been around the way that NO one is hanging out all day driving nice cars and wearing Burberry shirts cause theyre legit.

DS/GA are all over the place the last few years. They flip flop and don't now. OR. Philly is such a shit show that it's hard to figure out.

On another note, the guys in the Philly mob dress like a bunch of bums. Go buy a pair of slacks. I have never seen so many gangster in shorts and baseball caps.

chin_gigante wrote: Thu Nov 19, 2020 1:53 pm Schratwieser has recently written articles for the Mob Talk Sitdown website describing Borgesi as a captain. Then in one of their recent videos they said it looked like Borgesi was the one running the street, though they didn't use any titles and made sure to disclaim that was just how things 'looked', rather than anything definitive. They also reiterated what they've been saying for the past few years that Borgesi claims to be 'off the totem pole' and not involved in anything illegal.
Talk about a mixed message. He’s the one running things but doesn’t do anything illegal. How does that make any sense?
It doesn’t. I feel like they bought the “he appears legit” like that was put out, then saw him active on the street and hedged their bets. Both George (who I really like) and Dave have contradicted themselves here.

Ligambi was Underboss and Acting Boss. So that might explain why Borgesi is described as both.

chin_gigante wrote: Thu Nov 19, 2020 2:45 am Interesting, Capeci identifying George Borgesi as the Philly underboss
Anyone know if Schwratwiser and the other guy have done anything recent on Philly?
I’d be hesitant to take this as 100% as Capeci has a habit of referring to people using their past positions. I don’t think he is doing so here, but considering it’s Philly (what does Capeci know about Philly) and his history of ambiguity in terminology I don’t think we can take this as gospel yet.

Thanks to MS for the post.
GA & Schratwieser said he was the street boss recently, I could be wrong.
Was it gangster report, I think he was called acting boss.
