Yes,its true what his father but why the Gambinos killed his son and not him? Slap a made guy is a rule break but also kill a son of made man that have nothing to do with the episode. This happen in Sicilian mafia.
Not sure but the genovese must have told him to just accept it, bet it ate away at him knowing he got his son killed over a slap
