It came out in the Asaro trial that Patty Dellorusso was originally a Bonanno associate on record with Vincent Asaro. Asaro later "chased" him which stripped Dellorusso of his formal affiliation with the Bonannos, allowing the Luccheses to put him on record with them and induct him. Dellorusso's father Patty Dellorusso Sr. was also a Bonanno associate on record with Asaro.

His life as a made man was short lived. Do we know why he was shelved? They found out about him being a cowboy? He was questioned over the shooting and told detectives he was made. Not sure why the Lucchese's wanted him dead it was around the time there was a lot of tension between the two families. Seems a bit extreme to try and kill a member. I thought Terrance Caldwell shot Stagno on behalf of Mike Meldish? He was getting the Bonanno's back for the beating Ernie Aiello gave him. You're probably right actually. There would've been more drama and fallout if the Lucchese's tried to hit a Bonanno button. Pennisi says other people in other families looked down on the Lukes for using Caldwell as a shooter because it made it seem like they had no one capable in their family to do the work. I’m not sure how true that it is but it seems plausible. [/quote Remember though Caldwell even without Londonio was supposedly very close to Meldish ,I think they were close friends it said Meldish used to bring him for cancer treatments . I'm thinking Meldish was very paranoid at the time because of the supposed beef with Madonna, the thing with the girl and Mancuso,,and the beating he took by the bonanno guys. Using Caldwell may have been needed cause he was able to get close to him and meet up with him.
