I always wondered why the documentary was only 10 minutes long when there is so much more he could of talked about..

''All the time I was in the mob, I never really wanted to kill anybody. Out here in the legitimate world, there's 10 people I've met that I would kill. These legitimate people are worse than mob guys.''

Well, Tommy Del has a way of coming across like a comedian.

Frank Friel wrote that Faffy "can be a very charming guy when he isn't killing people".

DelGiorno is a pathological liar and was a severe alcoholic during his time in Philly even by Philly family standards, where everyone was an alcoholic. It's amazing that he can remember anything.

It is funny how he says that Iannarella is a nice guy with a good heart considering he was one of the more capable killers in the family. It's also thought that Faffy was instrumental in getting DelGiorno demoted and put on the hit list, but a wiretap showed that Iannarella was actually concerned that DelGiorno was going to be "hurt". I don't think he was out to get DelGiorno at all, it's just DelGiorno was so out of control after he became capo that his downfall was inevitable and Iannarella just spoke the truth about what was going on.

This is a classic quote, though:
You know when you say somebody don't have peripheral vision? Well, a lot of mob guys don't have any peripheral thinking, if you know what I mean.''

Same here. He's funny as hell, though he does BS a bit. I don't believe the horse story, for example.

Here's the video.

Saw him in that mob doc , the one with Jackie dinorsico and he was funny as hell , came out with some great one liners , whose running Philly everyone is here on this boat ha ha , and 20 Italians walk in a restaurant everyone's wearing Rolex and nobody's got a job , where not the mob ?? Ha
Saw that one. He said we should have all wore Shirts that said Mob across the front. Very true. the 1980s the era of the massive ego trip within LCN. Scarfo, Gotti etc. Whats crazy is that While SCarfo And Gotti were parading around like they were Elvis the commission case goes down and their prior superiors get 100yrs in the can. You would think that would have drivin them underground. But on the flip side. They were in so deep as a Boss they probably knew they were living on borrowed time on the streets so they just said fuck it and walked around with entourages like Elvis.

Most Bosses are a lot more like Uncle Junior than Nicky Scarfo and. Plus all the other families are not all violent as Philly in the 80s.

Probably the 90s too
