Patsy Parello also didn't seek revenge for his son being murdered. The Genovese hierarchy wouldn't allow it.
He did though , he was planning to have the perpetrators of his son murdered . It came out in his recent trial . He was planning to kill victor mirdita
Yea, they were really looking to whack him. Capeci reported that Victor Mirdita made himself “scarce” when they informed him of the alleged plot against him. Also, Jerry Capeci reported a while back that Victor Mirdita had been the victim of an assault and suffered “serious injuries” while in a protection unit of Rikers Island while awaiting trial for the murder of Parello’s son.

Quite obviously they WEREN'T followed through on, because an accommodation was reached where Patsy lost a son and was told that was the end of it. But ask Lenny Collotti what happened when he raised his hands to made guys in the Bonanno's...they came gunning for him. Ask Dom Cirillo's son who was supposed to have disrespected the office of Basciano JR and Cicale. People do stupid shit and get whacked. Today, yesterday, 1993, and in 1995. I don't quite know what your point is.
Fair point. Good response.

Although regards your point with Basciano and Cicale, it doesn’t appear that they (or the B’s) had anything to do with the kid going missing. Appears internal Westside.

Bruno that story always interested me. Why didn't Tore go to his Adminstration and ask to clip Patsy. He had that right. WHy punish the kid? And to be honest, I am sure that's what Patsy would have preferred.
I’d say it went something like this:
Tore had little to no say but Frankie was asked and said if Patsy put his hands on his kid, he’ll take one of his.

There you go boys. 100% fact certified answer 😁😎

Was it really a rule that was broken? The son was a drug addict, and maybe said he was getting a gun. If the threat to get the gun was the rule break, then fine - but in the scenario described, Cirillo's son didn't touch Cicale or Basciano Jr.
I suppose that's where we get into what the parties understood to be a rule and if it was broken. There's been conflicting reports about what happened but one did say it was a "physical beef." Whatever the case, unless there's something to alternative theories - such as the Genovese simply used it as an excuse to get rid of Nicholas Cirillo, it was a sneak move by the Bonannos, etc. - Cirillo would have had to give the OK for that to happen.

I think with doms son this wasnt the first time he fucked up.I think he was a constant headache and used up all his life lines.Theres only so much you can help someone. In saying that though if it was Casso or John gotti son who kept fucking up do you think these guys would of allowed someone to clip their sons?

Patsy is a stand up good guy. What he did to Tore loscacios was the right thing to do. He was mouthing out in Patsy’s resturang. Tore and his father that looks like a total degenerate deserved it. They are cowards hiring albanians to do their dirty work against fellow italians. Frank Loc is rotting away the last thirty years in a cage, like somebody said before me Patsy should of wiped the whole family out.

Bruno187 wrote: Thu Oct 08, 2020 10:31 am By all rights, it was Patsy that should have went. He put his hands on a made guy. And not just any made guy, but one of the administration's son. Patsy and his brother Neil chased him all the way down Arthur Avenue that night. If anybody was supposed to get whacked, it was Patsy.
Almost on the heels of the Patsy-Tore altercation his son gets shot on Hoffman Street. Tore had a couple of ballsy Albanian guys around him. Now nobody knows the details of what went on except those involved, but I'd bet my life that that kid Mirdita was put up to it by those Albanians....now there's plausible deniability.....and when this whole thing goes before any admin, Patsy has "paid" for his transgression and was probably told to stand down. He knows the life. He can't go off on a sneak job. The powers that be probably told him that he was to do nothing in regard to Mirdita or Locascio. It's true that Patsy himself would have torn half those guys apart, but he was not allowed.
This isn’t 1955.
‘Putting your hands on a made guy’ isn’t a death sentence. Especially if it’s a fucking captain in the Westside.

Well, in the ultimate sense, they're all scumbags, no? But within a the context of LCN, especially when everyone laments how the old days are gone, everyone is a rat, and nobody holds to the code, Cirillo apparently did. If his kid raised his hands to a made guy, as Gravano said, "time to go."
