There's nobody in California to collect anyway. New York/New Jersey will be about the only place that will still take place and it will be in those neighborhoods where the mob has a significant enough presence.
What about Philadelphia? LCN has a significant enough presence there. What do you think?
Maybe certain drug dealers in specific areas.

I'd say yes. His nickname is Tony Lap and it says next to him "Former Boss" he also died in 1960.

Awesome job putting that together.

Is it a different Tony LoPiparo on the soldier list or the same one as the dead former boss?

Not necessarily their "height", as we don't have inside sources from that time, but this covers them in the late 1960s and we go into some other historical discussion:

There was a Chris Giordano in the 30's that was part of the remaining Sicilian faction in the Heights with the Castelli and DiGiovanni Bros. Would be interesting to know if he had any connections to Tony Giordano, even if just from back in the old country.
Maybe if he was from Terrasini, but Giordano is a common name all around. The St. Louis Giordanos/Giardanos were from Detroit and connected to the Detroit family via their heritage. One source said the Giordano brothers were related to the Detroit leadership.
Thanks for the reply. I don't think the guy I asked about was related as he was Agrigentese.

I agree StL is most likely dead, seems like KC has a little more going on with remnants and members still around but what if any impact does the outfit have on these midwestern city’s aside from Chicago? Anything or pretty much nothing? Nothing seems more likely but the post above got me wondering that maybe since the outfit still has a fair number of associates maybe there’s hooks in here and there.
Lol we are wondering exactly what impact the Outfit still has in Chicago.

Just because there is "some bookmaking" .... and maybe even drugs.... doesn't mean it's LCN.

Lcn is strictly about a STRUCTURE

Moscone65 wrote: Fri Sep 18, 2020 11:01 am Descendants of the st louis old timers own alot of nightclubs and other businesses in the st louis area nowadays. Probably some shady shit going down there at these nightclubs, alot of blacks are known to hang out there and im sure they give the owners a cut to operate there. Some gambling and loansharking im sure still go on, but its a pretty low key operation with mostly of legitimate business (with some side stuff).
Blacks paying tribute to operate in 2020...HIGHLY unlikely. Besides who “told” you who was active in st louis and how are they in a position to know?
