You would of thought with gottis ego he would of had a mansion. But he lived in a humble home and prefered to spend his money on gambling and his appearance

Historically not a lot of Lucchese’s in Connecticut, odd to me given proximity to the Bronx.

Yes, I didn't mean to right "not" ...the Luchese had plenty of guys in brooklyn..more than the genovese. They were the evenly distributed family.
I'd say the Gambino's are most evenly distributed. I'm not sure about the Lucchese family having more guys in Brooklyn than the Genovese but it would be interesting to take a look and see.

There is a crew based in one of those 3 boroughs, the Staten Island crew, which is made up of the old Canarsie and 19th hole crew members.

Don’t forget that the Lucchese family is historically Bronx based so it’s not surprising to me that they have more Bronx crews than they do Brooklyn/SI, traditionally that’s their set up.

The whole neighborhood is nice but too many Orthodox Jews now if you ask me, they don't try to become a part of the community they try to take it over.

Looks like he has a football field in front of his house in the middle of Brooklyn where a 1 bedroom apt might cost you 2k a month

Batting cage also. For a while in the old days you could see right into his backyard as you passed on the belt parkway.

I have no clue how you came to that conclusion. The guy didn't say the mobster's name, he didn't give any identifying details about the mobster other than that he lived in Queens.

Is there something I'm missing?
"What happened was, my other neighbor was a big organized-crime figure in the Bonanno family,” he says. “My dad lost everything. This guy was just being nice. He said, ‘Hey, come clean my pool.’ I cleaned his pool, so then he gave me the head of another organized-crime family’s pool to clean, and then it was John Gotti’s pool.
Definitely Massino.
Lol, that's my bad. I turned it off when Joe Rogan started rambling.
When I listened to the part of the podcast it got me thinking he could have meant a captain when he said “boss”... so it could have been anyone.. but paying a kid that much to be a pool man was big money back then... I pay my pool Man for my grandmas house 60$ a month... but he’s an old friend so it hooked it up obviously.. but still that guy was getting paid a killing back then... back in the 80s a 100$ bill was actually sometging.. now a days a 100$ bill means you got lunch money...sadly.. I mean shit you go to McDonald’s and it costs 12$

That's what I'm saying. Which crew is DeSena capo of if the area has become a desert for Luchesse activity?

Perhaps he just has one or two guys.
Its not 1 crew between Brooklyn, Staten Island & Queens. That second Long Island crew is most likely made up of the guys from Brooklyn/Queens who moved to LI rather than SI. So you have 3 crews spread out between Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island & Long Island.

I don't know for sure but I think DeSena is capo of the Old Prince St crew.
Of course LI is comprised of Brooklyn/Queens guys..but still not one crew is based in the 3 boroughs? And Staten Island and Brooklyn have much more italians than the bronx. And the bronx has 2 based there? I am suprised.

To add the 2 Bronx crews are most likely made up of guys from the Bronx (obviously) but also guys from the old East Harlem crew and also guys from areas north of the Bronx as well.
