The guy paid taxes on the income he got from the loan so the government is trying to double dip. Besides the fact the government itself and an FBI forensic expert said the loan was legitimate. But again, he paid taxes on it.

Let's say, I broke into your house and stole your wifes jewelry and your laptop, etc and then sold it for $5,000. Then I lent $5,000 to Jimmy X "legally". Would you be ok with that? If the govt came after me would you say that it's bullshit?

There are better ways to launder money, I agree.
However, what about the money that Crea paid to the school? When his daughters ex husband stole a substantial amount of funds from their kids school, Crea went into his own pocket and paid it back.

Hospital executives are the greediest blood-sucking vultures I've ever had the misfortune of having to deal with. They live luxurious lifestyles by gouging sick people who are forced to choose between death and financial ruin.

Every single executive from every single hospital, health insurance company, and pharmaceutical company should be lined up and shot, and any of their victims who are fortunate enough to still be breathing should be allowed to piss on their rotting corpses.

All construction projects here in NY/NJ overbill, it's an accepted common construction practice here for years. Doesnt matter if any mob connected contractors/sub contractors/General Contractors/Electrical Contractors etc are involved or not its going to happen 99.9% of the time in some way, shape, or form.

Backing up Cheech here as well, these guys all know whats at stake going into that life. Its literally a game of "Catch Me if You Can" between the wiseguys and the government. The government does their jobs spending taxpayers money to run expensive investigations and subsequently pad their pockets with OT/Pensions and then the wiseguys do their jobs spending their illicit money to pad their pockets with more illicit/legit money. That's the game......

It’s interesting he used some of the $ from a Trust I think. It probably affords additional legal protections from seizure ?? Crea seems like a pretty smart gangster and will be tough to replace.

He didn't steal money. Read Capeci. The loan was legit. So why should he have to pay the principal if he doesn't have to pay the interest? That doesn't even make sense.
