In all honesty, I could careless if somebody is gay. Fact of the matter is that Michael Sam had an "incredible" pre-season with the Rams but he never would have started there over Robert Quinn or Chris Long, two pro bowlers. I suspect the NFL and the Rams had an agreement to draft him late to avoid discrimination accusations "knowing" he would never play over Quinn or Long. However, I truly believe that Michael Sam is good enough to be on a 53 man roster and I agree, the spectacle he made and "the kiss" was not the appropriate time to flaunt his sexuality. Coming out was probably hard enough, but wrapping his paws around little Vito and planting a wet kiss on him was in nobody's best interest, especially the Camissano family. As my grandfather used to say, it takes all kind of people to make a world...but he took it too far on the national stage.
