My heart bleeds for the fatherland, my condolences to your family there.

I don’t really know what to ask you. So I’ll just leave this at that, and let everyone else ask the questions I’m drawing blanks to even ask you.

And probably more importantly, what are their suggestions/recommendations/advice for all of us just in the infancy of this nightmare?

But I would have to ask, how have they kept themselves sane with their many weeks of lockdown?
Thank you... I can answer that now: internet, netflix and games. Those videos of everyone singing at their balconies, not quite the experience mine are having. Older relatives are kept from the younger ones.
I can imagine even those three activities would make you want to pull your hair out after all those weeks. We've been on shutdown in Chicago for a couple weeks now ? (can't remember) but it already seems like a lifetime. I'm also curious, but it might sensitive because I think of all the small businesses and unique restaurants in my area and the idea that they might not be around whenever this over, how do they feel their landscape will change? And what's the first thing they're going to do when the lockdown lifts?

Having a family conference call. Any questions anyone wants me to ask about the current ongoings in Italy? I can probably get an answer on life in Castellammare, Partinico, Alcamo, Palermo and Bagheria under Corona. I'll ask them about organized crime (maybe, I'll play it by ear but it's not the main focus of things) but they're not going to know anything. Closest to OC my family ever got was one relative having their business blown up years ago (they called the police and they were arrested) and a student film in Bagheria so...

As of Sat there were two older relatives who passed. I never met them to the best of my knowledge.

(I'll move this thread to General later.)
