Antonio Sansone may have been from Termini Imerese but couldn't confirm, so if the Chicago ones are from there it could tell you something.
Thanks

There’s some good information over at BB in the “made guys in defunct families” thread. Not sure if we’re allowed to cross post here.

Tony Sansone was son-in-law of the Syrian leader Jimmy Michaels who was blown up in a car bomb in like 1980.

The Sansones seem to be completely legit and involved in real estate and construction.

St Louis as a family has been dead more or less since the early 80s.

Interesting. It seems like they are very wealthy and pillars of the community these days. Smart to get out of the rackets and go legit.

Antonio Sansone was a mafia figure involved in the early 20th century St. Louis.

Bobby Sansone was a union representative in St. Louis suspected of having mob links, though he was active primarily after the local family had deeply declined.

If the Sansones in question are related, they wouldn't have been in a position to directly experience much mafia activity.

Thanks, I think these Sansones are related to Tony who was associated with the mayor of STL and was also the son in law of Jimmy Michaels.

It doesn't appear they are still connected (don't know much about STL). Any of the experts here know about this family and its ties? Thanks.
James Sansone was a Rockford LCN associate born in St. Louis but moved to Rockford. He had pawn/jewelry shops that fenced items and he was involved in a few gambling busts in Rockford.

I was doing some research on a clothing brand that is owned by the Sansone family from STL. It seems like they are related to some Sansones that were involved in activity years ago in STL.
