They are piling on for him cause the main witness he assaulted allegedly ate a contemptible charge rather than testify about him and his boy.
So they still have a rat and some forensic stuff but they don't have the soak dunk they did before. So they are ratcheting up to force a fast plea to a higher sentence.
His atty prolly threatened to take em to trial down one key testimony.
