Yawning....Whitey was small potatoes except in South Boston. The media has immortalized this douche bag.

I wonder what this book will really tell us that we don't already know. Freddy G. hated rats, Whitey was a rat.

Author and radio host Howie Carr claims to be the expert on Bulger, I don't know how accurate that is.
howie carr is in general a huge douchebag, and some of the things he writes in his books are very cringey, for lack of a better word. but he definitely knows his shit when it comes to the boston underworld of the past.

some of the things he writes about the bulgers are very clearly biased, but whitey really did strongly consider killing howie carr cause of how he was digging into shit regarding him and his brother billy, so i guess i can understand where he's coming from.

Looks like Bulgers prison killing saga will hit stores in a few months. "Hunting Whitey: The Inside Story of the Capture & Killing of America's Most Wanted Crime Boss" by Casey Sherman & Dave Wedge

Sherman has tackled quite a few true crime stories out of Boston, "Animal" for example, on Joe Barboza. Overview notes they will include "shocking new details about his death at Misery Mountain less than twenty-four hours after his arrival." We shall see.
