Marriage, and he has sucked up to Mustafa and his brother (Pete?) since he met them. Tyson gave an interview once where he said from his start with Atlas that Teddy always let them know he had mob connected guys for relatives, and built them up as dangerous to scare everyone.

Teddy Atlas was also supposedly somehow connected either through blood or marriage to Zef Mustafa from what I heard.

The 1 thing that pisses me off about atlas is he still bitches about a 14 year old Tyson.Thats the last time he saw him and he still is salty over what happened 40 years ago.Hes right but anyone who says they have no fear is the biggest bullshit ever.Think of the toughest guy you know if someone was going to throw him in a pit full of alligators and snakes would he not get scared??
