its funny how much they are playing monday morning quarterback with these pills now, the opiate “epidemic”

it was an epidemic 15 years ago when you were able to get 90 lortabs with 3 refills when you’d complain about pain without even having MRIs done. insurance companies and pharmacies were more than happy to fill the script.

now, if you need it...which lots of people do...good luck. my pain management clinic (ive had 3 surgeries and am in pain management, although thankfully not dependent on opioids) had cut everyone down to no more than 60 mg of oxycodone a day and they’re slowly trying to stop prescribing all instant release oxycodone products

combine that with the empty victories and virtue signaling of the government making pharma companies “pay” these huge settlements...for what? who’s getting that money?

these guys in the grand scheme of things seemed “small time”, fulfilling personal use for themselves and a small ring of people and making just enough money to keep the whole thing going. when it comes to REAL pills these days, thats all you’re going to find. small, tightly connected rings. gone are the days of the massive rings. a lot of doctors have gone down in the tristate area the past 10 years. all the big well known “friendly” doctors in Queens are dying in prison

Yea your right I may be a little biased because I’ve had issues with them
This guy has to be trolling us. The real Anthony Comello who shot Frank Cali had been addicted to opiates assuming it Oxycodone... is this guy for real or a troll ? Lots of young people have had trouble with pain killers tho so if your not trolling I been there too bro. Life gets better.
Being addicted to pain killers is not something that I would troll about. That is all too real for me and I know the pain and torture that comes with it. And thank you I’ve been clean almost 3 years

Most of the time it’s not the dealers fault. I got hooked on pain killers after back surgery and Dr’s were handing me prescription after prescription. I even told the Dr that I didn’t want anything that strong and his reply was that I would need them. I called the once and asked for something weaker and there was total silence filled by the nurse saying that we don’t hear that very much. I’ve thankfully been clean over 2 years now and have my life back. I lost a house, 2 cars but escaped with my family and my life. The doctors are the real threat to the public, when a patient asks for something weaker they should be treated like a normal person and not a freak and have the drug pushed on them.

AntComello has said before that he is not the real Anthony Comello.

Gotta be screen name....shocked if the real racist murdering nutbag gets internet privileges in pre-trial detention.....i also empathize with anyone addicted. Those pills are something else when you're hurt, imagine they'd be twice as good when you're healthy.

Only absolute losers blame the dealers who are just trying to capitalize on some big money, it's called having some self control. I am so sick and tired of all these cry babies with no self control or accountability blaming the dealers. Enough of my rant about those losers, official press release from Eastern District of NY:

Hell this is nothing. Based on the article, the guy selling the pills was only making a couple hundred bucks a month. He most likely is addicted to the pills and is simply selling them for a few free pills.

Is there an indictment or anything we can read on the case other than this article? The other guy who was moving the H may have been making a little more money.

The article doesn't state if any of these guys are connected. Is this an LCN case or are these guys unfortunate to have Italian names?
9 people, including Michael Calabria, Joseph Calabria, Stephen Delpriore, and Ugo Gallo were originally charged in the 2017 bust. I seem to recall someone saying there was a Bonanno connection. All things considered, i.e. Italians, Staten Island, etc. there's probably a 95% chance of a mob connection of some kind.
