Agreed, I heard a long interview he did on a car ride. Thought "how easy it is to fix games". Two buckets in a row, call a ticky tack foul. Always kill the momentum. You can't tell me this doesn't happen in football either.

Amazing interview , I still have this in the back of my head everytime I place some action on the NBA.

I can’t wait to see this movie, I bet it will end up being the most accurate account of what really happened with Donaghy . The NBA has tried its best to hide the real story

I’m guessing some bets were passing through one of their books or their operation and they either connected the dots, or pressed the bettors to see what was going on. if you start to bet out of habit suddenly and start winning, especially winning big, it wouldn't be out of the ordinary for the bookie to reach out and start asking questions. if this is the case, it isnt unreasonable to think one of these Canarsie guys leaned on the bettor threatening harm, or worse, if they didnt give up the whole jig
exactly. the philly mob had 0 involvement.

whats there to connect?
Maybe nothing I just find that hard to believe.
you find it hard to believe, why?
The amount of money potentially at stake/involved.
they wrote 2 books and numerous articles. believe me if philly mob were involved someone would have reported it. mob = fixed games = interest. i just dont think there was any connection.
Actually I watched some of the YouTube videos including a interview of Donaghy and he does say the philly mob came to his hotel room to talk to him and made a threat then left. Also the guys who were pulling the strings didn’t cooperate so I think we will never know the full story.
pulling the strings? lol...you're being vague. the referee and the main guy moving the money all pinched. who else would be "pulling strings?"
if their was a connection there would be more than donaghy making a youtube video. there would be 10 mob talks about it.

post the youtube for me just outta curiosity
