Maxi, you can do a write up on Christie tick. That would be cool!

If I remember correctly the story for Dellacagna's made brother was posted by one well-known bullshitter.
After checking the name given, the supposed brother didn't even exist.

Uncle Pete wrote: Wed Sep 18, 2019 8:44 pm Is/was Nick Corozzo’s Gambino crew active in Canarsie?
Yes the Corozzo crew and the Vario crew covered basically the same area emerging from Brownsville & East New York to cover Canarsie, Flatlands, Bergen Beach & Mill Basin.

Supposedly Turiddo Curiale was the first Capo of Brooklyn. And Vario grew the crew from there when he took over.
-
As far as the Varios go: Paulie and Sal (Babe) were def “there”! I do believe Lenny was also. And his sons Petey and Paulie Jr.
-
Vito and the other brother I don’t think were straightened out. But who really knows for sure? They may have been. Paulie was pretty generous in that department with his men..... so imagine his blood relatives?

Etna wrote: Wed Sep 18, 2019 10:02 am So the history of the Luccheses points to their roots in Manhattan and the Bronx. Any idea as to how this crew started?
I don't remember the details but D'Arco goes into that crew's history in his book. I think someone else mentioned the original captain of that crew who gave it to Paul Vario.

All their names are Peter or Paul. Plus they're all married to girls named Marie, and they named all their daughters Marie. By the time I was done reading that I thought I was drunk.
