Mario Vacanti was involved in the Serio Drug trafficking organization. Mario is Sam Vacant's brother. I've long contended that Sam Vacanti's murder of Monty Masimmi was mob related even though an article at that time discounted the idea.

Interesting stuff

Mark Falzone testifies that he ran decoy if cops got behind Serio and Anthony Gerace on their trip to meet one of his Canadians connections in NYCity to get their drug shipment. Apparently Anthony loaned Serio $80,000 for this. Lou Selva testified that Peter called Bongiovanni to get his brother Anthony out of jam and Bongiovanni obliged by getting a hold of his contacts in the Amherst Police Dept

Of course Sonny "AttaBoy" Blackstein doesn't find it interesting that Bongiovanni dated "Turtle's" daughter in high school and college. He is too busy watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off reruns to memorize little quips than to actually follow anything of substance or comment with more than an AttaBoy to someone's post he likes.

Hey I heard a guy knew this girl who was dating this guys sister who heard Ferris collapse at 31 flavours last night.

Lou also testified that Bongiovanni had dated Dana Panepinto in High School and college. She later married Joey Todaro (III). They are now divorced.

Interesting if it is true that Bongiovanni's uncle was a made man like Lou Selva indicated in his testimony at the first trial.
