D'arco's book is good but he only list a small number of Brooklyn lucchese soldiers

I agree Nepa, the D’Arco book I felt was a very honest and accurate depiction of mob life for the era discussed

D’arco’s book was the most factual to me. Reading Casso’s now and this guy Carlo is a fucking idiot. I read the line that called Bobby Boriello a Lucchese soldier and almost pissed myself laughing. What a jerkoff. Couldn’t he afford a fucking decent fact checker?

It was the only reason I listened to the audiobook. I always wondered how the Luccheses ended up in Brooklyn with all of their Uptown roots.

Al D'Arco's book goes into the history of the Brooklyn Luccheses. How Vario and people like that got their positions. Pretty interesting.

Another thing I always had a problem with is the question did Christie tick, after Don Turridu stepped down, at one point got to be in the crew of Paul Vario, or did that big brooklyn crew split right after Don Turridu stepped down and they both (Christie tick and Vario) got their own crews right away.

Hello everybody, I have a question about the Bklyn Lukes of the 50's. How big was that crew in the 50's, before it split betwen Christie tik and Paul Vario? And please, Is it known where it was HQ at?
