The Russian takeover that never happened. The last (nearly) 20 years have shown how off Friedman was.
There were claims that a contract was put on his life but he wasn't killed. He died in 2002.
The Russian mob’s power was rly exaggerated. After mobster mani chulpayev flipped, the Russian mob was almost completely taken out in the late 90’s and early 2000’s.
