Still in Vegas, might head back to Chicago soon. Had a lot of fun here though. I'm trying to set things up so I spend every winter here and the rest of the year in Chicago.
Not a bad life my friend, especially if you're single. If I was single and lived in Vegas, I'd "order in" every day of the week and twice on Sundays. And Chicago is my 3rd favorite city. There's a pizza parlor on Atwells Ave in the Federal Hill district of Providence, RI called Sicilia's, they have been around forever and specialize in deep dish Chicagp style pizza but with a New England twist. If you ever go to Providence, make it a point to stop there. Sounds great man!

I remember cracking up when I read about that back when this stuff was going on (I'm from Ohio as well). "The only ones who didn't flip were two shines and a jew!"

Did Michael meet with Joey often? Joey answered to Chucky Porter/Zebo after Mannarino died but was alos close to Sonny Ciancutti and Paul Hankish in Wheeling.

I have no knowledge of Michael meeting with Joey. That does not mean he didn't.

Zebo often met with Paul Either at his home in Wheeling or Ernie's Esquire. Once at Ogilby Park - Go figure.

Zebo often met with Pat Ferruccio. My first introduction to Pat was at Lenny's restaurant in North Lima before he controlled the Ramada Inn in Liberty. Then often at a little restaurant in Alliance, OH for lunch. This obscure little place was in between Youngstown and Pittsburgh. Best of all no one was ever there and it was easy to see if there was any "company" in the parking lot. Only thing in the lot was a big tree that Zebo backed into one day. I never let him live that down ;-)

Oh ok, I could see that. They stayed away from Lenny as well...go figure. By the way Friend of Henry, I went a few weeks ago and picked 5 bushels of dandelions ;) Showing these New Englander's what a Youngstown Calabrian dandelion salad is all about :D
To the best of my knowledge Micheal only had one other meeting with Lenny after he was made.
Michael came to Youngstown to tell Lenny that he would answer directly to Zebo.

I must be getting old ;-( I must have confused the bust at the Maronite Center and the last minute cancelation of a Super Bowl party planned at Gaetano's on 422. Maybe you can clarify this for me?

Years before my "friend" introduced me to Mel, the pawn shop owner, where she pawned Ernie's ring with EB in diamonds.

I believe that in addition to Bernie's cash needs, he foolishly went with his "new black crew". I've also heard that Lenny promised to have him made. I knew for a fact that the Pittsburgh powers that be, would never consider such a thing. Fact is they avoided him like the plague. They always said he couldn't go to the store without a car load of Feds following him.

Who avoided who like the plague? Are you talking about Lenny or Bernie?

Jeff Riddle was convinced that he would be made eventually. Apparently he was going around saying things like "I'm gonna be the first nigga to be be a made man".
