John Z. was always a gentleman...good for him. I was rooting for him anyway. Lovaglio is a grade A pos, know this for a fact. Nevertheless, I would be surprised if he doesnt have millions to tens of millions stashed away offshore.

Do we know for sure there is trouble between Cammarano Jr and Mancuso?
i dont think any news or LE or Capeci or anyone reputable have mentioned any sort of "feud"

it just randomly came up on the boards.

Cammarano Snr was AB and Official UB is what i was thinking the last reports.

who was it that just died?? The Fish or Nicky Santora?? imnpretty sure it was Nicky glasses
I'm not saying that there is no trouble between Mancuso and Cammarano Jr. I'm just saying the trouble could have been resolved, Mancuso did name Cammarano Jr acting boss and also official underboss, but Mancuso might not of had any choice at the time. I would say it all depends on whether Mancuso looks at Cammarano as a trouble maker or not.

GL News and LE have both reported a brewing war between Cammarano Jr. and Mancuso.

It's not something that randomly came up on the boards. This is from the Giallanzo detention memo:
As the Reports indicate, in March 2015, a war was brewing within the ranks of
the Bonanno family over control over the family as a result of the imprisonment of boss Michael
Mancuso. Detectives from the Organized Crime Investigation Division (“OCID”) of the New
York City Police Department (“NYPD”) reported to Probation that Mancuso wanted John
Palazzolo to serve as the street boss in his absence. However, another faction of the family,
including most of the captains, wanted Joseph Cammarano, Jr., to be in control. As such,
Cammarano, Jr., called the March 22, 2015 meeting to discuss the criminal affairs of the family.
Importantly, all three defendants attended this meeting.

And this is from GL News, Jan. 16, 2016:
Cammarano's promotion became possible after capo John Palazzolo was sent back to prison last year for violating his supervised release restrictions (VOSR) after a 10-year-stretch behind bars for racketeering and murder conspiracy. Palazzolo had been first choice of imprisoned boss Michael (Mikey Nose) Mancuso. With Palazzolo behind bars, Mancuso tapped Cammarano as the family's "official" underboss and its "acting street boss," law enforcement officials say.

John PalazzoloPalazzolo, 77, was sentenced to a year and a day after Organized Crime Investigation Division (OCID) detectives spotted him meeting with Mancuso emissary Frank Salerno and several other wiseguys four times during a six day stretch last March, according to court papers.

At the time, wrote Probation Department officer Robert Anton, "an internecine war was brewing" between factions loyal to Palazzolo and Cammarano for control of the family. "As a result of Palazzolo's incarceration," wrote Anton, the threat of violence dissipated and Cammarano, 56, "assumed control of the Family's day to day criminal activities."

Citing intelligence information obtained by OCID detectives and FBI agents, Anton wrote that Mancuso had "selected Palazzolo to be his acting street boss" but Cammarano had his sights on the top spot too. And he "garner(ed) support" for that at a March 22 meeting of 15 mobsters that included consigliere Anthony (Fat Anthony) Rabito, seven capos and five acting captains.

The NY Daily News also reported a brewing war between the family's Bronx faction and Cammarano.

Santora died in October but his nickname was "Nicky Mouth," not "Nicky Glasses."

He was acting underboss after Massino's indictment. I'm not sure whether he became official after Vitale flipped
afterward, wasnt it a 'panel' with basciano, urso, and cammarano senior? thats the way basciano's book made it sound, although i believe urso was straight up acting boss at some point. it was cammarano who delivered the news to tartaglione that he was being shelved, IIRC
When Vitale was demoted the Bonannos used a committee to act in the position of underboss before it was dissolved and Cammarno, Sr was made acting UB. I do not believe that any of the three you mentioned were part of a panel or committee but they all held various "acting" positions within the family at one time or another.
