Im no expert on shipping routes , not by a long shot. My 2 cents on this was just that when it comes to Antwerp/Rotterdam, you could be dealing with a couple of 'mobs', its really a free for all ride at the moment.

The laws are weak, and Europe doesnt really care it seems. Or law enforcement has been even more corrupted then we know.
Italians have been bying into real estate and big business for years in Western Europe, who's to say they didnt get to LE and politicians.Theyre all scum anyway.

Have you guys seen this?

If its not Calabrese, maybe Albanians....I dont think the Mexicans would ship to NY, over water.....unless it was the Gulf cartel....I guess it is possible.....just seems risky for no reason.....

Also, I'm wondering if whatever group was supposed to have a contact at the docks....

This WOULD be where the 5 families would be very useful.....

It's a curious bust......

Also, my math might be fucked up.. but 3200 pounds is roughly 1,411,200 grams, right?

How much per gram over there? If its 40-50 bucks then, the 77 million comes from retail estimates on the street side, the sales.....

I just dont think a European based group like Albanians or especially Morroccans would send it to NY first...

I think Calabrians specifically because of the route the coke took, and the destination point.....

We know the Calabrese have NY contacts, and possibly a pressence there...... I'm not too sure about Morroccans, Mexicans wouldnt ship it from Colombia if it was going to the states.

I suppose the Albanians are a possibility, they do have contacts in Colombia.... I also dont see the point of the Dutch sending it to NY first, like for what?

I say Calabrese, with the Albanians as a long shot... then again they work hand in glove with the Calabrese....

The K price fluctuates a lot over here, between 20 and 37 in the last 2 years. Thats 1 K uncut. When you buy wholesale the price goes down obviously.

in Antwerp you're dealing with Maroccans, Albanians, Dutch, Mexican point men, and yeah the Italians.

When a shipment is headed to Antwerp it can be headed to either one of the above, it's one big clusterfuck over here.

It came FROM Colombia, and was going into Antwerp..... this smells like the Calabrians.....No?

I'm wondering now if they are still trying to set up a New York base...... or if it's up and running already......
in antwerp there are several groups involved, not only calabrians

I'm surprised the authorities didn't tag and monitor/surveil the ship to see who the purchaser/receiver was.

By the time you get the coke at the club it’s been processed by a few dealers bet your getting garbage buying in that small quantity
At a thousand an ounce wholesale, which I think is the price, that makes a value of 1,925,000 dollars. If wholesale is less, which it probably is at that quantity, the value goes down. They give it a street value, which just makes it anything they wish to call it. Regardless, its a very big seizure.

Cabrini, what do you think of the 77 million dollar value given? I don't see how they can say it is worth any amount till they test it. Plus I am not familiar with coke value by the pound.

I did not find the tv story on the cel phone robberies, but a Times article on same topic. Instead of Eastern Europe, they say the phones are going to China and the Middle East, and mention an Arab stick man who was caught.
