She's talking about a man she only knows as her grandfather, so she should be forgiven. Having an attorney or some sort of advisor telling her to phrase it differently would have made the message better, but nothing would have helped. Nothing, They had him set to die in prison since they sent him away, unless he ratted. He knew it and stood up to them.
