There are countless examples of sons who were inducted but not the father. I'm specifically wondering about fathers who were inducted after their sons were already members, or fathers/sons who were inducted in the same ceremony. We see all kinds of situations aside from this, but this seems to be among the most rare, to the point where we have no known examples outside of the Baudanzas who I mentioned in my original post.

I believe there are quite a few instances where sons were made and the fathers never made it past the associate level. Casso comes to mind (his father was never made but was connected to the westside, correct?)but I'm sure there are many more examples of this happening.

Fathers inducted after their sons

Curious if anyone knows of examples where a father was inducted after his son, especially in the same family.

Pogo has Carmine Baudanza of the Colombos listed as a soldier, so that would be an example of a father inducted after his son (John Baudanza, Lucchese), though it is a different family. I can't come up with any other examples, same family or other.

Would be curious too if there are any fathers/sons inducted in the same ceremony. Alphonse and Anthony Bruno Indelicato would be close, with Bruno showing up on an FBI report as inducted as soon as a month or two after his father was made in 1976. This would be explained by the books having been recently opened after nearly 20 years closed. Unrelated to this topic, but Bruno would also become captain a relatively short time after his father's own promotion, being captains of separate crews, itself a very rare situation.

There are too many examples of sons who have outranked their fathers and/or older relatives so won't get into that. Curious what people can come up with related to inductions, though.
