Vario's father came from Monte San Giuliano (Erice), I know B. said was from Vita? Is there a source?

There was one individual whose name I don't recall as it all becomes a blur. One individual's grandfather was born in Naples, his son was married in Messina, had a child in Palermo. Mother's side came from Potenza. When people move around it's hard to classify people. Take Vito Genovese, 100% Sicilian but his parents moved to Naples, he grew up there and was considered by his contemporaries to be Napolitan. I guess it follows the same standards as anything else. If we're cousins and our parents and grandparents lived in New York, then mine move to the midwest and I grow up there and visit New York, would you consider me a Newyorkamerese when I call the Coke pop?

Monte San Giuliano (Erice) and Vita have connections, you see it with the Detroit Ruggirellos, some came from Erice, some Vita and others San Vito Lo Capo and they're all related which makes things confusing.

Paolo D'Anna, ID'd by D'Arco, was 103 and died in 1988. There is a guy who was born in 1895, Siculiana, arrived in 1912 to brother Gaetano in Aguilar, Colorado. He was living in Chicago by 1917 based off his WW1 draft which matches the BD of his WW2 draft. By 1930 he was living in Brooklyn.

There was also a Paolo D'Anna born in 1906 who died in 1989, parents from Sciacca.

I'm not seeing anyone who fits, 103 would be 1885.

He was born in Ricigliano, Salerno, Campania but both of his parents were from Alia, Palermo. But it's a technicality, no sources who were around Vito at the time made note of it and to the contrary, he was regarded as the top Napolitan in that world. "It's like finding out that James Caan isn't Italian."

Bill Feather had him as a guy born ~1888 in Messina. Corresponds to a Giuseppe Emanuele from San Fratello, Messina (a comune that we’ve also seen come up with the Genovese and Gambinos now). I don’t know if that’s the right guy, but it seems to be the best match (there was a Giuseppe Emanuele from Agrigento as well but that guy lived in BK/SI).

IIRC, Valachi had Pelham Bay Joe as dead by the time of his 1963 testimony?
