Or, not.

(No Unions, concrete club, garmet district, wharves, fish market, trucking, JFK, hijacking, weeds legal, you get 7yrs for loan, same for gambling , which is legal almost everywhere... anything else?)

In my humble.

I would have to agree, as someone above said there are not so many ways to make money like back in the day, but also less ways for you to end up in prison, according to their homes, they are doing very well financially. In the latest bust,we can see that Lanni got 1.5$ million just from LaForte.

And main benefit today is lack of murders, you almost don't have to worry about getting killed.

Strax, as you just articulated I think it certainly is one of the best ages to be involved. Guy like Lanni who doesn’t seem like the sharpest guy ( see latest restaurant incident) and no lineage getting $1.5million from LaForte alone recently with homes in Toms River & Staten Island ain’t doing too bad.

Totally agree . Almost zero chance of being clipped or having to clip someone . If u get arrested your prob looking at short time and by looking at these guys homes they r still living good

The sheer density of population, and industry on the east coast, combined with the ingrained culture of business corruption makes that territory kinda permanently susceptible to Organized Crime, imo.

I think it’s interesting several people agree with you on this, I’m not sure many wiseguys would. My question to you and those who agree with you is if this is the best age to be a wiseguy what was the worst age?

The Commission case (I'm assuming that's what you mean by everyone getting 100 years)...def a huge blow to American Cosa Nostra no doubt. Fed scrutiny probably at an all time high.

Higher priority as a whole. Legalization or quasi of bookmaking. Chance of murder (in US)
