Yes, well worth it if you have an interest in some of the older LCN figures (1960s and before). Antiliar and Angelo (maybe B.?) have contributed work to it.

Absolutely one of the best resources on Cosa Nostra. Highly Recommended.

Absolutely, they are a great resource. I don’t buy every issue but certainly the ones that interest me. The May 2014 issue is easily the most referenced issue on this forum, honestly I’m surprised you’re just finding out about it now you’ve been a forum member a few years already.

I have known about it. But I am just asking about it now. 1950,1960> to present day i am more interested in. Anything before that and the genealogy and all that, I'll read it, but it's not something I would buy into and sit down and read it

Pepe Sabato was not related to the Sabato in the LCNBios article. His family was from Salerno, Campania.

He was born on Aug 5 1907 in Passaic, NJ to Salvatore Sabato and Teresa Piccolo. He grew up at 426 Paterson Ave, Hoboken, NJ and was married to Katherine Mack.

He worked as a chauffeur for Joe Adonis, after he left for Italy, he was largely involved in gambling activities in the North Jersey area. In 1963, he lived at Apt. 2F - 2365 Hudson Ter, Fort Lee, NJ. He would generally frequent the Englewood Country Club or Sid Allen's restaurant (Rte 9W, Englewood Cliffs, NJ), his girlfriend worked as a cashier there.

In 1983, he lived Apt 1D - 2532A Linwood Ave, Fort Lee, NJ. He's identified as being a capo but I don't know what crew he was with. He was close to Thomas Eboli and may have been on the Anthony Strollo hit.

He passed away Aug 15 1999 in Toms River, NJ

Thank you so much, Joel.
My good friend used to live on Hudson Terrace and this guy we would see in the elevator was typical mob guy.
what's interesting is that he was killed in a car crash on 9W
