Saratoga is a town known for its racetrack and high stakes races. I came across a recent comment made by an anonymous account on cosanostranews that said that many OC members are heading there this month.
"What's up with the Mob and Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Racetrack, Casino) the week of August 23, 2017? The word around Howard Beach is that Saratoga Racetrack is going to be jam-packed with wiseguys that week - wonder what's up. Scheduled to make appearances include wiseguys awaiting Trial. How'd they ever swing that? Great idea! I mean, there's no way the Feds can make a bunch of wiseguys in a crowd of 50,000, right? I wonder if they'll be willing to sign autographs?"
This also led me to research the influence the mob has had on saratoga. Anybody have more insight or opinion on the comment and/or the history in Saratoga?

I have no idea , but I believe there is a big race at the end of august every year there . It's the Travers Stakes. All the old school horse racing fans go up each summer they bring their wives and make a mini vacation out of it.
